Leidos is seeking a TERPS Instrument Flight Procedures Specialist in Oklahoma City, OK. You will support FAA IFP groups with TERPS-based instrument procedures and coordinate with FAA offices and field personnel. A strong aviation background and ability to obtain public trust are required.

Primary duties include evaluating obstructions and airspace revisions, reviewing aeronautical data, and Amendments to procedures as needed, with cross-team collaboration across FAA and Leidos partners.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and 4+ years of experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in Aviation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Ability to obtain and maintain public trust suitability

Responsabilidades

• Support the amendment of current and new FAA IFPs.
• Determine the effect of proposed obstructions, altered or deactivated airports, NAVAID outages, and revisions to controlled airspace as they affect instrument flight procedures.
• Review aeronautical information released to confirm accuracy of air navigation data.
• Initiate corrective action where discrepancies are found and amend procedures accordingly.
• Provide background information to FAA for NOTAM development when required.
• Coordinate with FAA Tech Ops, Flight Check, and Air Traffic personnel.
• Liaise with regional and field FAA offices, National Flight Data Center, military and airline representatives, aviation officials and operators.
