Orkin is seeking a Termite Technician - Will Train (Maintenance) to join our pest control team. No prior experience is required as we provide award-winning training and a clear path to a professional career. You will contribute to protecting homes and businesses while growing with a leading, mission-driven company.

You’ll operate a company vehicle, earn competitive pay, and participate in a 401(k) program. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork within a supportive environment

Qualifications

• No Experience Required – we’ll train you to be a Pro!
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to obtain the pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with customers

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning company paid training and learn the skills to operate a pest control service route
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
• Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within territory
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
• Serve as a problem solver with empathy by listening to customer needs and offering Orkin Pro solutions
• Prepare and install home or business services including attic remediations, crawlspace encapsulations, gutter protection, and radiant heat barriers
• Interact with customers to set expectations and ensure satisfaction
• Complete service-related documentation using a handheld device

Responsibilities

Where and how will you serve customers?

• Complete our award-winning company paid training and learn the skills required to be responsible for the daily operation of a pest control service route to become a Pro
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
• Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer
• Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
• Serve as a problem solver for each customer with empathy by listening to and understanding their needs and utilizing Orkin Pro expertise to recommend the most efficient and innovative solution
• Prepare and install home or business services to include, but not limited to, attic remediations, crawlspace encapsulations, gutter protection, and radiant heat barrier for energy efficiency
• Interact with customers in their home or business by setting project expectations and walking them through the process to ensure satisfaction
• Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage your hand-held device provided for speed and accuracy

What will my work environment be like?

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
