Job summary

Orkin, LLC is hiring a Termite Technician (Maintenance) to join a trusted national pest control team. You will receive comprehensive training, a company vehicle, and opportunities for growth as part of a safety-focused, service-oriented culture.

No industry experience is required to start, with paid training and license support. You will service residential and commercial customers, ensuring effective termite prevention and responsive, professional customer care in your assigned territory.

Qualifications

• No Experience Required—we'll train you to be a Pro.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with our customers inside their businesses and/or homes.

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning, company-paid training to operate a pest control service route.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as a problem solver for each customer with empathy by listening to their needs and recommending the most efficient and innovative solution.
• Prepare and install home or business services including attic remediations, crawlspace encapsulations, gutter protection, and radiant heat barrier for energy efficiency.
• Interact with customers in their home or business by setting project expectations and walking them through the process to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete all required service-related documentation using the handheld device provided for speed and accuracy.

What will my work environment be like?

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
