Job summary

Rentokil Pest Control North America is seeking a termite technician to identify termite problems and determine remedial steps at customer sites. You will communicate critical conditions, discuss procedures, and perform structural inspections, including entering crawl spaces and using inspection tools.

Role requires climbing, lifting, and adapting to varied environments. A high school diploma and driver’s license are required, with opportunities for licenses and career growth within a global

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of customer service; termite control experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility with working hours (Mon-Fri and Saturdays as needed).
• Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by regulations.
• Must possess valid driver's license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
• Use application and inspection equipment; small hand tools and power hammer drills.

• Operate and maintain equipment and vehicle in a clean, good-working order.

• Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to treatment process
• Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders
• Use application and inspection equipment; small hand tools and power hammer drills
• Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations
• Operate and maintain your equipment and vehicle in a state of cleanliness and good working order

What do you need?

• Be flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
• Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations
