Job summary

The Terminix International Company Limited Partnership in Florida is hiring a Termite Technician to perform termite treatment services safely and according to guidelines.

You will identify termite problems, communicate critical conditions to customers, and operate inspection equipment and vehicles; eligibility requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in customer service, and the ability to obtain licenses.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience; termite control a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Flexible with working hours (Mon-Fri and Saturdays as needed).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Identify termite problems and determine remedial steps.
  • Communicate critical termite conditions and discuss procedures with customers.
  • Enter/exit structures and crawl spaces; climb stairs and ladders.
  • Operate and maintain equipment and vehicle in good condition.
  • Tolerate various environmental conditions.
