Job summary

Terminix in Hot Springs, AR seeks a Termite Technician to perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines. You will identify termite problems, explain conditions that promote activity, and discuss structural measures with customers.

Local travel, varied environments, and a need to maintain equipment are expected. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of customer service experience, and a valid driver’s license; willingness to learn and obtain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 2 years of customer service; termite control experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Be flexible with working hours, Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates per federal, state and local regulations.
• Must possess valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Termite treatment services performed safely and per company guidelines and standard practices.
• Identify customer termite problems and knowledge of termite behaviors to determine remedial steps.
• Communicate critical conditions to customers and discuss procedures and structural modifications as needed.
• Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; navigate stairs and ladders as required.
• Use application and inspection equipment, small hand tools and power drills.
• Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and dusty locations.
• Operate and maintain equipment and vehicle in clean, good-working order.
