Job summary

Bug House Pest Control is hiring for an outdoor Pest Control/Crawlspace Technician. You’ll be on the move, building your career while protecting homes and communities.

No experience is required—comprehensive training is provided, and you’ll join a supportive team with opportunities for advancement. A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a pesticide license within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience necessary (training provided).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers to foster loyalty and trust.
• Manage the daily service route with strong time management.
• Perform residential pest control, crawl space services, and termite inspections.
• Address current and future customer needs through problem solving and communication.
• Operate safely and follow product label standards and safety guidelines.

What your responsibilities will be:

• Building Relationships: You’ll create lifelong connections with both internal and external customers, helping to ensure they’re satisfied and loyal. Your goal is to create "Customers for Life" by delivering excellent service every time.
• Managing Your Service Route: You’ll be responsible for the daily operations of your Service Route, using strong time management skills to stay on track and complete all necessary tasks.
  • Perform residential pest control, crawl space services, and termite inspections.
  • Problem-solve customer accounts to address both current and future needs.
  • Provide consistent communication with customers to keep them informed and satisfied.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including customer service, sales, and fellow service professionals, to ensure an outstanding experience for each customer.
  • Apply pest control products in accordance with label standards and safety guidelines.
• Safety First: You’ll maintain a safety-first mindset, especially when operating company equipment or driving your company vehicle. Your commitment to safety helps ensure the protection of both yourself and the people you serve.

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

• Safely use ladders within the manufacturer’s weight capacity and climb ladders up to 32 feet
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods. Travel may include short stops or longer routes between counties or service areas
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
