Pike Corporation, located in Manassas, Virginia, is seeking a qualified Cable Splicer. As a Cable Splicer, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing electrical underground systems, working with energized and de-energized systems at various job sites including out-of-state locations.
This role entails leading a crew, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and mentoring apprentices. The ideal candidate possesses strong underground experience and a valid CDL, willing to work in various environmental conditions.
The Cable Splicer is a safety-focused professional with the ability to construct and repair electrical underground systems. You will work on energized and de-energized systems and may be required to travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, as operational and customer needs dictate. You will report to the Foreman.

The job frequently requires you to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects, operate tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. You will perform job responsibilities in extreme heat, cold, wet, windy, and storm conditions.
