Job summary

Aloha Petroleum is seeking a Terminal Operator Trainee in Honolulu, HI. The role supports the Fuel Terminal facility by performing maintenance, product transfers, and tank gauging while ensuring safety and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

Performs basic arithmetic and other mathematical calculations.
Mechanical aptitude is required.
Ensures safe and efficient receipt and shipping of hazardous material with authority to stop and prevent unsafe acts.

Responsibilities

Performs terminal maintenance and corrects mechanical problems at the load rack and related equipment.
Receives/transfers products by pipeline and ship/barge.
Monitors flow rate into tanks and performs hourly gauging/leak checks.
Performs routine testing (e.g., RVP testing) and calibrations as directed.
Participates in 24-hour on-call Terminal Oil Spill Response Team.
Performs truck washing and janitorial duties as assigned.
