Job summary

Amrize in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Terminal Operator who safely operates all equipment at the location to load and unload rail cars, boats and trucks, ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests.

You will communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales staff, trucking firms and suppliers, maintain grounds and facilities, assist with maintenance, and uphold health, safety and environmental policies while performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Microsoft programs, and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment at the location to load/unload rail cars, boats and trucks, ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing.
• Communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms and suppliers.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.
• Load/unload material (bulk and bagged) via waterway and road methods as appropriate.
• Operate and assist with maintenance on mobile equipment and general mechanical upkeep.
• Uphold health, safety and environmental policies and promote a culture of safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
