Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Operator at our Spartanburg Terminal in SC to safely operate equipment used for loading and unloading rail cars, boats, and trucks. You will ensure order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests on site.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience, plus basic computer skills and familiarity with SAP. A mechanical aptitude is valuable, with welding experience preferred; a strong commitment to safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High mechanical aptitude and willingness to work in a heavy industrial setting.
• Welding experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of cement, construction industry, and integrated computer systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms and suppliers.
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.
• Load/unload material using appropriate transportation methods (rail, water, road).
• Operate and maintain mobile equipment and assist with mechanical maintenance.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies and wear Amrize PPE; comply with fit tests.
