Job summary

Quikrete Holdings Inc. in Port Allen, LA is seeking a Terminal Operator II to support the port operations at our heavy construction materials facility.

You will perform monthly PMs, troubleshoot mechanical issues, unload product barges, coordinate rail and truck receiving and loading, and maintain inventory records while working in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience.
• HS Diploma/GED.
• Strong mechanical skill set.
• Experience with logistics or inventory management.
• Ability to be on call one weekend a month.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Welding experience is a plus.

• Mobile equipment operation.
• Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on equipment.

We are looking for a TERMINAL OPERATOR II to join our Port Allen, LA location. As a Terminal Operator with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will perform monthly PM's , troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns, unload product barges, and perform other duties as assigned.

About You

We Require:

• Previous Barge experience a plus.
• Previous experience with mobile equipment (Frontend Loaders / Cranes) a plus.
• Experience inspecting and performing basic repairs on equipment.
• Logistics or inventory management experience.
• Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Welding experience a plus.
• Computer knowledge,
• Must be able to be on call one weekend a month.
