Job summary

Ergon Asphalt Partners in Garden City, GA is seeking a full-time Terminal Operator I to join a tight-knit team responsible for producing high-quality asphalt binder. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and eager to learn, contributing to an evolving facility.

You will perform a range of operational tasks, collaborate with Operator I staff, and help maintain safety and efficiency at the terminal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Stable work history.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Safety requirements and procedures.
• Able to work independently (self-driven), as well as a Team Player.
• Able to perform all of the Terminal Operator I functions proficiently.
• Transfer products from between tanks.
• Operate a steam boiler.
• Able to align valves and operate pumps.
• Able to do blending functions.
• Able to perform general maintenance and minor repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Able to perform Quality Control testing using DSR & Brookfield equipment (where applicable).
• Other duties as required by Terminal Manager.
