Ergon, Inc. in Garden City, GA, is hiring a full-time Terminal Operator I to support our asphalt binder operations with a tight-knit team.

The successful candidate will transfer products between tanks, operate a steam boiler, align valves and pumps, and perform blending and QC testing while maintaining safety and housekeeping. The role emphasizes independence as well as teamwork, with opportunities to learn new skills and advance within a family-owned company with locations across the U.S.

• General computer skills and PC knowledge.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Safety requirements and procedures.
• Able to work independently (self-driven), as well as a Team Player.
• Able to perform all of the Terminal Operator I functions proficiently.
• Transfer products from between tanks.
• Operate a steam boiler.
• Able to align valves and operate pumps.
• Able to do blending functions.
• Able to perform general maintenance and minor repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Able to perform Quality Control testing using DSR & Brookfield equipment (where applicable).
• Other duties as required by Terminal Manager.
