Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA is hiring for a terminal loader role in Nashville. The position emphasizes safe, efficient loading of bulk and bag trucks from silos as directed by the Terminal Manager. You will operate packaging and blending machinery and ensure loads meet customer specs within legal limits.

The role requires lifting heavy weights, working long shifts, reading safety instructions, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while adhering to all safety policies. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 75–100 pounds regularly.
• Ability to operate forklifts and tractors as needed.
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts up to 7 days a week.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load bulk and bag trucks safely and efficiently from designated silos as instructed by the Terminal Manager.
• Operate packaging and blending machinery safely to produce quality packaged materials.
• Ensure each load meets customer specifications within legal limits.
• Unload barges, moor barges, connect hoses and cables, monitor unloading process, and operate unloading gates, valves and blowers.
• Adhere to company safety policies and perform work safely.
• Clean all terminal areas and collect daily/weekly samples.
