Buzzi Unicem USA is seeking a Terminal Operator to support loading bulk trucks, monitoring unloading processes, and ensuring safety standards are met. This role involves working in various weather conditions, lifting heavy loads, and operating loading equipment as directed by the Terminal Manager.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, the ability to work extended hours, and proficiency in English.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Able to work extended hours, holidays and overtime.
• Speak, read, write and understand English.
• Work indoors and outdoors in year-round conditions.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Mansioni

• Load bulk trucks safely and efficiently from designated silos.
• Ensure each load meets the customer’s specification within legal limits.
• Spot railcars to connect unloading equipment.
• Monitor unloading process and operate gates, valves and blowers safely.
• Adhere to safety policies and work in a safe manner.
• Clean terminal areas and obtain daily/weekly samples.
• Operate forklifts and related equipment as needed.
