Job summary

Cargill is seeking a dedicated Terminal Operator in Dayton, OH to monitor and operate loadout equipment for bulk materials, including trucks and rail cars. You will collect samples, monitor tank levels, and document data while ensuring accuracy in all procedures.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift, and adherence to safety policies. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with basic computer and English skills essential.

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions with PPE.
  • Physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
  • Basic computer skills and basic math abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate loadout/unload equipment for bulk materials (trucks/railcars) using scales, pumps, valves.
  • Collect product samples and monitor tank levels, inputting data into computer systems as needed.
  • Send documentation to the lab, supervisor, or shipping/admin clerk for order/tank discrepancies.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to safety policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
