Job summary

BWC Terminals in the United States is launching a Manager in Training (MIT) program in Savannah, GA. The MIT learns and supports full terminal operations under seasoned leadership, gaining hands-on experience in safety, regulatory compliance, maintenance, and customer service across multiple sites.

The trainee builds skills to manage terminal operations safely, efficiently, and in line with company policies and applicable regulations while developing leadership and project management

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents (regulations, policies, reports, bids, etc.), blueprints, and drawings.
• Strong communication skills; ability to present information and respond to questions and complaints from staff, co-workers, management, and customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn BWC programs and software.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations at the assigned terminal or department in accordance with procedures, safety standards, and policies.
• Assist with maintaining regulatory, safety, and operational records in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in workplace audits, inspections, and corrective action follow-up.
• Glean familiarity with environmental, safety, and regulatory agencies and inspection processes and ensure adherence to HSE and operational requirements.
• Assist in supervising terminal staff, including scheduling support and time-off coordination.
• Interact professionally with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Assist with monitoring preventive maintenance activities and equipment condition.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors under the direction of the assigned BWC leader.
• Support customer product inventory monitoring and assist with investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Identify operational or safety issues, elevate them appropriately, and assist in resolution.
• Manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Develop leadership presence and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
