Air Products in Oak Creek, WI seeks a Terminal Supervisor to oversee terminal operations, lead a team of drivers and mechanics, and ensure safe, on-time distribution of liquid nitrogen, oxygen, and argon. The role interfaces with plant operations, logistics planning, and customers while enforcing safety and Basic Safety Process standards.

Qualified candidates bring a strong safety background, DOT knowledge, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience is highly preferred.
• Management of the terminal’s Basic Safety Process with a focus on zero incidents.
• A self-starter with leadership abilities and teamwork skills.
• Travel on a monthly basis to conduct driver safety observations.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• On-call and call-in availability as needed.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated computer skills.
• Distribution experience and basic equipment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Safety performance, Basic Safety Process.
• Coach, mentor, and lead drivers; observe deliveries and yard activities.
• Work with support resources to achieve productivity targets.
• Interface with tactical planning and logistics for inventory management.
• Use optimization tools to drive safety and distribution KPIs.
• Coordinate with logistics for accurate, on-time deliveries.
• Conduct customer site safety inspections and ensure equipment meets delivery needs.
• Ensure incident reports and action items are completed and recorded.
• Serve as liaison between drivers and plant operations, Driver Safety team, and Site Manager.
