Position Overview

Under the direction of the General Manager, the Terminal Manager will lead, manage, and direct fleet operations for the Knoxville branch. The role ensures efficient dispatching, routing, cost‑effective fuel purchasing, and maintaining customer and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate delivery operations to achieve optimum efficiency, customer service, and equipment use.
  • Maintain fleet and assets to specified standards within budget, coordinating with Maintenance.
  • Achieve or exceed budgeted financial commitments on a cost‑per‑gallon basis.
  • Educate, organize, manage, and lead branch employees to achieve company objectives.
  • Monitor and balance fuel inventories.
  • Establish and maintain effective vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with governmental regulations for trucks, employees, and facilities.
  • Promote safety awareness, incident prevention, and a safe work environment.
  • Facilitate fuel purchases at lowest cost in coordination with the Supply Department.
  • Provide performance feedback to employees, recognizing high achievers and addressing substandard performance.
  • Influence others positively and establish customer margins to meet company objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Lead Driver, Driver Trainer, or Driver Supervisor.
  • Experience in petroleum, fueling, or fueling logistics preferred.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: 10‑hour or 12‑hour shifts. Full‑time position with bonus opportunities.
