Job summary

A growing technology firm in the U.S. is seeking a professional to contribute to software development with strong skills in Teradata and data warehousing. The role involves requirement elicitation, stakeholder coordination, and technical optimization in a full-time capacity. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 7 years of experience in IT. Only U.S. citizens and authorized workers should apply, as sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Information Technologies.
• Hands-on experience with optimization/tuning in Teradata.
• Ability to provide resource and risk planning inputs.
• Strong requirement elicitation and analysis skills; able to convert requirements to design.
• Experience in on-site/offshore delivery and client-facing roles.
• Knowledge of DWH concepts and Teradata architecture.

• Strong Requirement Elicitation & Analysis skills
• Should have the capability to understand requirements and convert to design and provide
• pass the same seamlessly to the team who is working on the same.
• Ability to coordinate with SMEs, stakeholders , manage timelines, escalation & provide on

• Good knowledge in DWH concepts and Logical/physical database design
• Extensive knowledge of Teradata database, data warehousing and information
• Excellent understanding of Teradata architecture. Knowledge of Teradata CLDM will be an
• added advantage
• Hands on experience in performing optimization/tuning activities in Teradata
• Hands on experience in Stored Procedures, Bteq, Teradata utilities for load and export data
• Should come up with the work estimation and should provide inputs to managers on
• resource and risk planning.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on Unix shell scripting
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written communication, oral communication and
• Should have played client facing roles
• Must have worked in on-site/offshore model

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :-

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience within the Information Technologies.
