Job summary

The Division of Allergy and Immunology within the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, invites outstanding candidates for tenured faculty positions at the associate or full professor level.

Qualifications

MD or MD/PhD or PhD with an emphasis relevant to Allergy and Immunology.
5+ years of clinical, translational and/or basic research.
Independent, extramurally funded research program (NIH R01 or similar).
5+ years of research published in high impact journals, with 1+ grants/publications in allergic and immunological diseases.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy and Immunology (ABAI) for clinical duties.
California medical license or eligibility per Medical Board of California.

Responsibilities

Advance clinical and translational research in asthma and airway immunology.
Contribute to the division through leadership, teaching, research, and patient care.
Hold associate or full professor appointment with ladder rank or in-residence series.
