Job summary

UC San Diego invites applications for Tenured faculty positions in Immunology within the Department of Pharmacology. The focus includes immunology, tumor immunity, autoimmunity, neuroimmunology, and related translational efforts, with collaborations across the UC San Diego campus and affiliated partners.

Appointments will be at Associate or Full Professor rank, 100% Ladder Rank (Tenured). The successful candidates will contribute to graduate education and develop new courses or seminars, while

Qualifications

• Must have MD/MD-PhD or PhD in health sciences or immunology.
• 5+ years leading a funded research program with independent extramural funding (e.g., NIH R01).
• 5+ years of research publications in high-impact journals.
• 5+ years of teaching and/or mentorship experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead an immunology research program at UC San Diego and collaborate with affiliated institutions (LJI, SDSU).
• Contribute to graduate education in Pharmacological Sciences, teaching graduate-level lab and lecture courses.
• Develop new didactic or laboratory courses or seminar series with other faculty.
