University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND invites a tenured Associate or Full Professor to become the MSW Program Director. This full-time faculty role requires in-person campus presence for a 9-month contract with 50% administrative duties, including curriculum coordination, accreditation activity, student recruitment, and policy development.

The department seeks a leader with macro or policy practice experience, scholarship potential, and a commitment to social justice.

Qualifications

• MSW from CSWE-accredited program is required.
• Doctoral degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
• Two years of full-time post-MSW practice experience.
• Eligibility for ND LMSW licensure.
• Two years of full-time teaching in CSWE-accredited MSW program.
• Two years of leadership experience in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Teach in MSW program; potential teaching in BSSW; advise and participate in field coordination.
• Conduct scholarly activities; startup funding will be available.
• Engage in service and department/college/university activities.
• Serve as MSW Program Director with 50% workload; handle curriculum changes, accreditation processes, student recruitment and advising, and policy development.
