Louisiana State University’s Department of Biological Sciences and Museum of Natural Science invites applications for a tenure-track faculty/curator position in vertebrate paleobiology. The successful candidate will curate the Vertebrate Paleontology collection and develop an independent, externally funded research program.

The appointee will teach undergraduate and graduate courses and contribute to the mission of both the Department and Museum while building on strengths in macroevolution,

Qualifikationen

• Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Geological Sciences or related field.
• A successful record of independent research.
• Strong background in managing vertebrate paleontological collections.

• Curate the Vertebrate Paleontology collection and oversee its resources.
• Establish and maintain a vigorous, extramurally funded research program.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Participate in the service missions of the Department and Museum.
