The successful candidate will lead undergraduate instruction, sustain an active research agenda, and collaborate with students and colleagues to advance departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or ABD required before start date.
• Specialization in criminal justice, criminology, or sociology with focus on crime, law, and justice.
• Experience teaching undergraduates in the candidate’s field.
• Active research program with peer‑reviewed publications.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team in a multi‑disciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in criminal justice and sociology; manage materials and advise students.
• Maintain an active scholarly program and involve undergraduates in research where possible.
• Contribute to service and program development within the department and university.

Education
