Job summary

Northern Kentucky University seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work. The person will teach in the BSW and MSW programs across in-person, hybrid, and online formats, with a strong commitment to service and scholarly engagement.

Preference given to applicants with cross-program teaching experience and active involvement in scholarship and community engagement. The role is a full-time, tenure-track appointment on the NKU campus.

Qualifications

• MSW from CSWE-accredited program is required.
• PhD in social work or related field; ABD considered with completion date.
• Experience teaching undergrad and grad courses in online and in-person formats.

Responsibilities

• Teach in both BSW & MSW programs, in-person, hybrid, and online.
• Engage in teaching, scholarship and service per NASW Code of Ethics and CSWE standards.
• Develop and deliver engaging, student-centered courses across undergrad and grad curricula.
• Contribute to CSWE reaffirmation cycles and to scholarship/dissemination.
