Qualifications

• BA or BFA required.
• MFA preferred but not required.
• Distinction as an artist working primarily in Sculpture.
• Proven exhibition record.
• Demonstrated teaching skills.
• Ability to teach both Undergraduate and Graduate studio and seminar courses.
• Expertise in the history and current practices in the field of Sculpture and in-depth knowledge of contemporary art issues.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate students in sculpture with an emphasis on contemporary studio practices.
• Contribute to the department through administrative service and in creating a community of students, staff, and faculty richly diverse in backgrounds, experiences, and viewpoints.
• Engage in equity and inclusion initiatives within the arts community.
