Qualifications

• Doctorate in Psychology or closely related discipline required at hire.

• Experience teaching, mentoring, and supporting student success in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a productive program of research in physiological/biological psychology or behavioral/cognitive neuroscience.
• Publish scholarly work in peer-reviewed journals and disseminate findings through presentations.
• Seek external funding to support research and scholarly activity.
• Teach undergraduate courses in area of specialization and related Psychology courses.
• Teach courses of varying modalities and sizes at Kennesaw and Marietta campuses; typical load is 9 credit hours per semester.
• Engage students in research and provide mentorship for academic and professional development.
• Contribute to departmental, college, and university service activities.
