University of Georgia seeks a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Health Science and Institute of Gerontology. Qualifications

• A doctoral degree in environmental health, gerontology, computational neuroscience, neurobiology, or a related discipline.
• At least two years of work experience after PhD (e.g., postdoctoral training or teaching).
• Strong record in teaching, research, and service in One Health with a focus on aging.
• Preferred for Associate rank: demonstrated ability to obtain external funding.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses across relevant programs.
• Maintain a joint appointment between the Department of Environmental Health Science and the Institute of Gerontology.
• Engage in and lead research activities in One Health and aging-related environmental risk factors.
• Contribute to service, mentoring, and diverse student and community engagement.
