Texas A&M University-Victoria seeks a full-time, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Educational Leadership at the Victoria Campus. The appointment begins January 2027, with a focus on graduate instruction in Educational Leadership and related fields.

The successful candidate will teach online and in-person courses, supervise field experiences, and contribute to program assessment, accreditation, and collaboration with districts to meet state standards for principal and

Qualifications

Doctorate required in Educational Leadership, Educational Administration, Organizational Leadership, or closely related field by Dec 2026.
Evidence of strong teaching at the higher education level.
Significant professional experience in PK-12 educational leadership and administration.
Working knowledge of expectations for educator preparation and state certification standards.

Responsabilités

Teach graduate-level courses in Educational Leadership, Educational Administration, and Organizational Leadership (traditional and online formats).
Teach and support coursework for Principal and Superintendent certification.
Prepare aspiring leaders to meet state certification standards.
Supervise leadership practicum, internship, and field-based experiences.
Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with school districts and educational partners to keep programs responsive.
Maintain scholarly agenda appropriate for tenure-track faculty.
