Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Software Engineering, CS, or closely related discipline is required at hire.
• Research trajectory in software engineering with interest in ML, DevOps, MLOps, or secure software systems.
• Evidence of high-quality teaching at undergraduate or graduate level.
• Evidence of productive research agenda with publications and funding experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in software engineering, including SDLC, AI-augmented development, and AI-enabled architectures.
• Design and propose new courses and modules introducing AI-native engineering practices into programs.
• Establish or continue an active research program with external funding.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students, including theses and capstone supervision.
• Contribute to departmental, college, and university service and guide AI-integration strategy.
• Engage with industry partners to align curriculum with current practice, including internships.
