Qualifications

• Terminal degree or foreign equivalent required at hire.
• Demonstrated ability to teach courses in data visualization and artificial intelligence in communication.

• Experience with face-to-face, hybrid and online instruction.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses across the School of Communication and Media, with emphasis on Journalism and Emerging Media programs.
• Develop courses in artificial intelligence and data visualization.
• Maintain an active program of research or creative scholarship in AI and data visualization.
• Seek external funding to support research.
• Contribute to curriculum development and collaborate across departments.
