Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Madison invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Division, School of Pharmacy. The successful candidate will develop an externally funded research program, supervise graduate students, and teach both PharmD and PhD courses.

Qualifications

Minimum of one year of postdoctoral research experience or relevant industrial experience that emphasizes pharmaceutical sciences, drug delivery, biomedical engineering and biomaterials.
Preferred: established research experience in biologics and protein delivery, cell-mediated delivery, immunoengineering, AI-assisted drug delivery, translational nanomedicine.
PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or other related fields.

Responsibilities

Establish an independent and externally funded research program; supervise graduate students.
Teach courses in PharmD and graduate programs within the School of Pharmacy.
Collaborate with research cores and engage in departmental and university service.
