Qualifications

  • Ph.D. required by time of appointment.
  • Commitment to teaching a diverse undergraduate student population.
  • Ability to teach criminal courts and contribute to curricular growth.
  • Strong record of or potential for scholarly publications.
  • Ability to balance teaching, scholarship and service.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a core course on criminal courts.
  • Create new court-related courses in specialized areas.
  • Develop high-impact practices for students (Moot Court, Mock Trial).
  • Engage in advising, mentoring, and service at multiple levels.
