Job summary

University of Alaska Anchorage – College of Business and Public Policy seeks an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Analytics, Data Science, and AI. The position includes research and service, with a 9-month, tenure-track appointment beginning in August 2027.

Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in Business Analytics or Data Science (or ABD with evidence of completion) from an AACSB-accredited institution.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Business Analytics or Data Science required.
• ABD may be considered if degree completion will occur prior to hire.
• Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Analytics, Data Science, and AI.

Responsibilities

• Teach three courses per semester (9-month appointment) starting August 2027.
• Conduct research in Business Analytics, AI, Data Science.
• Provide professional service to the university, the profession/discipline, and the community.
