The focus is on molecular dynamics simulations and AI-enabled multiscale modeling of biosystems, with mentoring of graduate and medical students. The ideal candidate will pursue translational impact, develop collaborations, and contribute to teaching and service,

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in a quantitative field with a distinguished record of research in structural biology.
  • Demonstrated expertise in large-scale multi-omics data integration, with leadership in single-cell biology, spatial transcriptomics, or digital twin modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Lead research using large-scale molecular dynamics simulations and AI-integrated multiscale modeling of complex biosystems.
  • Bridge molecular, cellular, and systems-level modeling, contributing to whole-cell modeling and networked biology.
  • Mentor trainees and teach biochemistry and biophysics at graduate and medical school levels.
  • Engage in service and collaboration within the department and broader university community.
