Faculty in the Strategy Unit have backgrounds in strategy, economics (theory and empirical), and related fields. What brings the Unit together is an aspiration to be the world’s leading developer and disseminator of knowledge relevant to business strategists. We offer a range of courses on topics including business unit strategy, corporate strategy, global strategy, strategy and technology, strategy implementation, and competitive interactions. The Unit also supports a doctoral program in strategy. With time, candidates are expected to become strong, effective teachers. We encourage faculty to develop elective courses closely tied to their research agendas and to exploit complementarities between research and course development.
