The NC State Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Philosophy with expertise in logic. Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in Philosophy by May 2027.

Responsibilities include teaching logic up to the advanced level and contributing to the department’s teaching needs in other areas of philosophy. The teaching load is two courses per semester, and the appointee will engage in research and service.

Formación

• Ph.D. in Philosophy by May 2027 (minimum education)
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness
• Superior communication skills
