Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine's Department of Pediatrics seeks an Assistant Professor in Hematology to join CHOP-based Penn faculty. Applicants must hold an MD and/or PhD or equivalent and be on a tenure-track path.

The successful candidate will contribute to clinical inpatient and outpatient services, participate in teaching of graduate students and postdocs, and lead or collaborate on basic and translational research in hematology, hematopoiesis, and related blood

Qualifications

• MD and/or PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in pediatric hematology and clinical service delivery.
• Evidence of teaching and mentoring trainees is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient clinical duties in pediatric hematology.
• Education and mentoring of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
• Independent or collaborative research in hematology with grant support.
