The Department of Ophthalmology at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor to join a growing, patient-centered research and education environment in North Carolina.

The appointed faculty member will align with a basic science affiliation, report to the Department Chair, and contribute to innovative teaching, patient care and collaborative research within the UNC School of Medicine.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in an appropriate discipline (or equivalent).
• Track record of competitive research funding or strong potential to obtain funding.
• High-impact publications and presentations demonstrating creativity and fundamental questions.
