Job summary

California State University, Fullerton's School of Nursing invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor (Nursing Generalist) beginning August 2027. The successful candidate will teach across BSN, RN-BSN, MSN, and DNP programs while advancing scholarship and service, with responsibilities including curriculum design and clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Nursing by the appointment date.
• Current unencumbered RN license or eligibility for California RN licensure before employment.
• Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching across multiple areas.
• Strong scholarly record with an active program of scholarship.

Responsibilities

• Teach across BSN, RN‑BSN, MSN, Post‑Master’s Certificate, and DNP programs.
• Supervise clinical learning and advise students.
• Design and evaluate curricula aligned with AACN Essentials, BRN regulations, and CCNE standards.
• Engage in accreditation, program assessment, and faculty governance.
• Balance teaching, scholarship, and service and participate in university nursing communities.
