Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing and Illinois RN licensure required.
• 2 years clinical nursing experience with at least 1 year in area of specialty.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based teaching or clinical practice.
• Expertise in technologies for instruction and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Review policies and standards of Morton College, the Nursing Program, IDFPR, and ACEN.
• Contribute to accreditation committees and processes.
• Develop, deliver and evaluate curricula, including syllabi and outcomes.
• Advise students and maintain office hours (6 contact hours/week).
• Attend monthly unit meetings and participate in college committees.
• Collaborate with clinical education partners for instruction and supervision.
• Demonstrate nursing and teaching expertise with technology and simulation.
• Engage in professional development and scholarly activities.
• Teach online and/or blended courses as needed.
