Seattle University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in neurobiology, starting August 2027, to support a new interdisciplinary undergraduate Neuroscience major spanning multiple departments and colleges. The successful candidate will teach introductory and advanced biology courses, develop new neuroscience courses, and build an undergrad-friendly, externally funded research program in neurobiology.

Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D.

Formación

• Ph.D. in neuroscience, biology, or a related field.
• Post-doctoral training is required.
• Undergraduate teaching experience is required.

Responsabilidades

• Teach both introductory and advanced biology courses at the undergraduate level.
• Develop new courses for the Neuroscience program.
• Provide service to the program, department, college and university.
• Establish an active, extramurally funded research program engaging undergraduates in neurobiology across subfields.
