Job summary

Bucknell University’s Department of Biology invites applications for an open-rank tenure-track faculty position in molecular biology to begin August 2027. A Ph.D. is required; postdoctoral experience is encouraged but not required.

The successful candidate will demonstrate inclusive pedagogical practices and equity in both the classroom and scholarly engagement. They will carry an annual teaching load of five courses across the Biology curriculum, support our Cell Biology and Biochemistry

Responsibilities

• Teach an annual 5-course load across the Biology curriculum.
• In addition, teach upper-level molecular biology with a lab and core biology courses.
• Rotate teaching a selection of: biochemical methods course, upper-level lab, or university core seminars.
