Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Biology, Microbiology or related field required.
• Postdoctoral or equivalent experience in microbiome research preferred.
• Potential for excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead an independent research program in microbiology with a microbiome focus.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students and contribute to teaching in microbiology.
• Collaborate with departmental and interdisciplinary programs within UNT (AERI, BDI) and College of Science initiatives.
