Qualifications

• PhD in Statistics or related field by end of first academic year.
• Evidence of ability to be an effective instructor.
• Evidence of clear and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses as assigned by the department chair.
• Advise students and provide guidance on coursework and research.
• Maintain currency in the content area and related teaching practices.
• Evaluate student work and provide regular and substantive feedback.
• Maintain office hours and contribute to scholarship and service as part of tenure-track duties.
