Qualifications

• Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing, Management, Business Administration, or closely related field.
• ABD candidates will be considered; terminal degree by the time of appointment is required.
• Evidence of, or strong potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching.
• Ability to contribute to curriculum development and growth in entertainment, hospitality, tourism, and related fields.
• Evidence of, or strong potential for, an active scholarly agenda appropriate to the discipline and the expectations of a tenure-track appointment.
• Commitment to student advising, mentoring, service, and working effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in marketing, management, and Eastern's Liberal Arts Core.
• Contribute to development of proposed curriculum in entertainment management and interdisciplinary initiatives in entertainment, hospitality, tourism, and related fields.
• Build partnerships with regional organizations, expand internship and experiential-learning opportunities, and support student professional organizations.
