Responsibilities

• Teach basic and advanced maritime courses and assess STCW competencies.
• Deliver lectures and demonstrations in labs and on vessels.
• Advise students and maintain regular office hours during the academic year.
• Engage in scholarship and service to the University and maritime industry.
• Support operations aboard the Training Ship Golden Bear during cruises.
• Maintain MMC credentials and stay current with safety standards.
