Job summary

The University of Idaho College of Law in Moscow invites applications for a Regular Faculty position in the Law Library as Reference & Electronic Resources Librarian. The role combines management of electronic databases, LibGuides, Digital Commons, and vendor study aids with teaching and outreach to the law community.

The appointee will supervise electronic resources, coordinate with the University Library, and advise on digital accessibility. Rank and tenure are negotiable.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited school and successful completion of at least one year of an MLIS program from an ALA-accredited school, or equivalent experience.
• Teaching experience or related experience.
• Preferred: completion of an MLIS program.

Responsibilities

• Provide reference and research support to College of Law students, faculty, staff, University community and the public.
• Teach Introduction to Legal Research and other potential courses.
• Engage in outreach, attend faculty meetings, and serve on committees at University and College level.
